Born in Suffolk, Celeste Copping spent most of her childhood immersed in books such as Roald Dahl, Charles Dickens, and the very funny Sue Townsend. She always loved to draw and paint, and graduated from the University of the West of England in Bristol 2002, with a BA Hons in Illustration.

“My paintings focus on both figurative and animal characters, with themes that are sometimes considered dark, humourous, or both. My favourite materials are using Acrylic on stretched cartridge paper.”

Celeste currently live in Hertfordshire with her two mischievous Bengal cats Vinnie and Eugene, and her husband Ben.
