Jenny Ryrie

She is a member of the contemporary artists collective chart. Her work is held in many private and public collections, including the Natural History Museum of Oman; the Grosvenor Museum, Chester; L.I.M.E. Hospital Trust; East Cheshire Hospital Trust; Tetrapak; Brown Forman Corporation; British Midlands Airline. She is a direct descendant of the watercolour artist William Evans of Eton ( 1798-1877). |

Jenny Ryrie has an M.A. in Fine Art (Edinburgh 1980) and has exhibited nationally and internationally including London (Thackeray Gallery; Piers Feetham Gallery), Edinburgh (Kingfisher Gallery), United States (Canyon Road Contemporary Art, Santa Fe) and group shows in France, Germany, Italy, Russia and Switzerland. Jenny specialises in watercolour and acrylics, pushing the boundaries of expression through a wide variety of techniques. She uses intense colour and flowing shapes as well as including references to natural forms in some of her more landscape-based pieces.
